Occupational Health and Safety Policy
We at Hy-Tech Drilling Ltd.strive for a safe work place. To accomplish this goal meaningful involvement, participation and total commitment from everyone is required, including management, employees and any contractors. This will be ensured through our adherence to the OHSAS 18001:2007 Occupational Health and Safety Management System.
The management of Hy-Tech Drilling Ltd. is committed to providing safe and healthy working conditions; through provision of safe and appropriate equipment, by ensuring the right for an employee to refuse to perform dangerous or unsafe work, by developing, maintaining and continually reviewing the operating practices and procedures of the company, and by promoting positive attitudes toward safety and health within the organization. Management will ensure that workers are adequately trained to do their jobs, or are working under the guidance of someone who has competency both in the job and in giving instructions. Management will ensure as well, that all employees complete a thorough orientation period, and are given the basic instructions in safe work procedures and practices.
Hy-Tech Drilling Ltd. is committed to meet or exceed all applicable legal requirements and to periodically review these requirements to ensure compliance and to make any necessary updates.
All employees and contractors are required to follow safe work procedures, know and follow all safety rules and regulations that pertain to their work, and ensure the continued development and practice of safe work habits.
A safe and healthy work place is everyone’s right and responsibility, so all persons employed or contracted with Hy-Tech Drilling Ltd.are expected to correct or report unsafe conditions and practices, and to work cooperatively towards the prevention of accidents, in all area of operations.
