Harvey Tremblay

Chairman/President
 

Mr. Tremblay is the founder of Hy-Tech Drilling Ltd. After several years in the construction industry, Mr. Tremblay began his career in the mining sector. He worked his way from service work at the drill sites, to exploration services, to working as both a driller and a foreman. In 1991, Mr. Tremblay founded Hy-Tech Drilling Ltd., and has built it up from a single drill owner/operation to a fleet of 30 drills operating throughout Canada along with its affiliate companies operating throughout Europe.

Mr. Tremblay sits as a director on the Canadian Diamond Drilling Association, as well as being an appointed director of the Association of Mineral Exploration BC.


 

Fraser Stewart

Contract/Operations Vice President
 

Mr. Stewart started with Hy-Tech Drilling Ltd. in 1993. Throughout his career with the company he has worked in many diverse areas that have contributed to his in-depth knowledge: truck driver, welder fabricator, driller’s helper, driller, foreman, and his current position of Contract/Operations Manager.

Prior to his career with Hy-Tech Drilling Ltd., Mr. Stewart was a geologist for Noranda Exploration. He holds a B. Sc. in Geology, graduating from the University of Alberta in 1989.


 


 

J. Craig Scott

Operations Vice President
 
Prior to joining Hy-Tech Drilling Ltd. in January 2007, Mr. Scott had a notable 28 year career with Boart Longyear. While there he gained significant experience in the diamond drilling industry; working his way up from a driller’s helper all the way to becoming their International Operations’ Manager.

Mr. Scott has a vast knowledge of directional drilling, deep hole drilling, and mud systems. During the course of his career he has worked in over 60 different countries, is a former director of the CDDA, and is currently a member of the MIHR Council.

 

 

 

Dwayne Ross

Saskatoon Branch Manager
 

 Mr. Ross has 17 years experience in the mineral exploration and drilling industry, and has worked in many facets: exploration field work, drilling, welding, fabricating, and mechanics.  Mr. Ross joined Hy-Tech Drilling Ltd. in 2002, and gained in-depth knowledge working as the Shipper/Receiver, Shop Foreman, and Human Resources Manager, prior to his current position as the Saskatoon Branch Manager.
